Susan Alderson Brushworks Art Workshop Series

Location: LHAA Gallery
Cost: $40.00 per workshop
Day: 2ND Saturday EVERY month
Time: 9am to 12 noon
Min: 10 Max: 22

This workshop series is designed for artists of ANY skill level using ANY medium! Participants will complete a small example of the subject or technique and leave at the end of the workshop with color recipes and notes on application techniques.

Participants will be painting right along with the instructor via video camera and a large television monitor! This is a fantastic way to see an "up close" view from any seat in the room AND ... see it...paint it!

Oct. 11Th : "Animal Fur, Whiskers and Feathers"

Nov. 8Th : "Christmas Bookmarks/Gift Tags"

Dec 13Th : "Stonework, Brickwork, Weathered Plaster/ Architectural Elements"

Jan. 10Th: "Facial Features"

Feb. 21st: "Color Palette and Mixes for Skin, Hair and Eyes" NOTE: 3rd Saturday

Mar: 14Th: "Trees, Bark, Leaves, Depth in Bushes and Foliage"

The instructor, Susan Alderson, is an award winning artist and instructor, who has served as a popular juror with critique at our member shows. She is currently the featured artist at the Orange County Fine Arts Gallery in Costa Mesa near South Coast Plaza. Her paintings are on display until April 15th.
