Last month at La Habra Art Gallery, the La Habra Heights Art Group showed the work of many talented local artists.

May LHAA Member's Show & Critique

Last month at La Habra Art Gallery, the La Habra Art Association Members Show featured the work of over 30 talented local artists. Exhibits in this month's show feature oil and watercolor paintings from Mary Schultz, Linda Goittlied, Amy Lin, Crystal Maes, Leslie Steadman, and many others. Stop by the gallery and support your local artists!

Congratulations go to the following local artists:

1st Place Prize: Quietude, by Mary Schultz
2nd Place Prize: As the Crow Flies, by Linda Gottlied
3rd Place Prize: Millennium Park, by Amy Lin

Honorable Mentions go to Crystal Maes for her painting Brown Bags, Leslie Steadman for Grannies, and Mary Schultz for Miss Sass.

La Habra Art Association's Member Show Competition

The La Habra Art Association Member Show Competition started on February 1st, with the member art take-in. The Art Show critique was juried by Jackie Bell on February 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Exhibition dates: Thursday, February 7th through Friday, February 29th. November Art Festival Annual Competition

The La Habra Art Association November Art Festival showed the diverse and exceptional works of many talented local artists. This year, the open show received over 90 entries. For contest rules, eligibility and information see the Annual Open Show.

Four Faces

October 2007's exhibit entitled "Four Faces" showcases the work of four distinct artists. Laura Black of Yorba Linda, Anne Hammer of Fullerton, Jane Innes of Seal Beach, and Marina Petrenke of Placentia were featured at the La Habra Art Association Gallery for the month of October.
